LSKH Queeres Kulturhaus (queer culture house) is Frankfurt’s Queer Community House and open for interested people. Different queer groups meet here and are happy to meet interested people. Join us!
Our concept
We are a community house in which we are not only open to all queer orientations and identities but also one in which we are conscious about our differences and learn and practice how to respectfully and curiously interact with each other.
Practically it means, that every person has to be willing and practice to approach others openly, willing to learn, gentle, with good will and constantly inform oneself. To make mistakes is part of it – we all do. Therefore it is important, that we are conscious about various existing forms of discrimination, privileges and disadvantages and we take each other serious and get to learn each other in our realities.
Each person and group is responsible to be aware and call attention on each other, when we act in an insensible way.
If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact the groups directly and/or send us an email to info@lskh.de
House meetings
If you want to get involved in the LSKH, are looking for a place to realize your ideas and projects, your group needs a space where you can meet regularly or just want to get to know the LSKH, feel free to come to the house meetings (“Hausplenum”).
The meetings usually take place on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00 pm at LSKH. You can find the next dates here.
A house meeting is the place where new as well as experienced groups and individuals can get to know each other and network, where everyone can get involved and share ideas about the use and design of the house.
Therefore, we welcome all of you there. If you have any questions, please write to us in advance at info@lskh.de.
